I agree with Cris Putnam, that, Dawkins is a blasphemer, and an idolater. That a ‘primordial soup’ can create great men like Abraham Lincoln? Dawkins is inconsistent. Surely he does not behave as if his own mother is ‘soup’?

God is love the Bible says (John 3:16).

“While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly.
Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a noble and lovable and generous benefactor someone might even dare to die.
But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.
Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ’s blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God.

Dawkins once said in a debate with Lennox, ‘Whoever bases his morality on the Bible has not understood it.’ So Dawkins is advocating the notion that one should ‘dishonour their parents’? Or should we steal each others cars? Because it is written: “you shall not steal.” Or what about Exodus 21:15: “Anyone who strikes father or mother must be put to death.”

If Darwinism is true, then no-one has the right to judge a paedophile, or a rapist!

I particularly liked that line by John Gray (paraphrased): “the beliefs of the New Atheists are in fact, a comedy.”

Yes, the New Atheists philosophy, is in fact a Comedy, in four Acts: Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens.

These new Atheists call themselves “The Brights”.  This is what God has to say about them: “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,"( Romans 1:22). Furthermore, God says:
“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.” (Psalm 14:1)

1 Corinthians 1:20 (Amplified Bible) says:
“Where is the wise man (the philosopher)? Where is the scribe (the scholar)? Where is the investigator (the logician, the debater) of this present time and age? Has not God shown up the nonsense and the folly of this world’s wisdom?”

The New Living Translation says:
“So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world’s brilliant debaters? God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish.” (1 Corinthians 1:20)

Indeed, Christianity is the rational position. Darwinism is irrational. GOD is love (John 3:16). Go and sin no more (John 8:11).

I find it particularly relevant Gods expressed disgust with idolatry throughout the scriptures, when viewed in light of the most insulting idol imaginable. The modern elevation of randomness and “chance” as an explanation for the artistry of the awesome and holy Creator.
