The Greatest Fear is Succeeding at Things That Don’t Matter

John addresses the “Search for Success” event in Australia

The article discusses John’s address at the Search for Success event, he asked, “what do we mean by ‘success’?”:

Speaking to the thousands who had gathered at the Australian Technology Park, Sydney, on Thursday, the mathematics professor and Christian apologist explored the concept behind ‘success’, saying that the idea of obtaining it was “elusive.”

“I find that again and again…people who have reached the top – and everybody else thinks they’re magnificently successful – will turn to me and say ‘what do I do now?’, ‘where do I go from here?’”

“We feel we’re never quite there,” he said.

So the question is not on success, Dr Lennox explained, but instead it is a question of meaning.
